There's a version of a group trip where someone always feels like they're compromising. Peoria Mansion was built for the group that refuses to.

The days here have a rhythm that forms without any planning. Someone's already in the pool before the rest of the house is awake.

The kitchen smells like coffee and something better. By afternoon the sports court is loud, the hot tub has a rotation going, and a debate has broken out over who's next at the ping pong table.

By night, everyone migrates downstairs — arcade games, a poker table with chips already stacked, a wet bar that keeps the evening going long after it should have wound down. Nobody's watching the clock.

The bedrooms make it easy to actually recover from all of it. King suites with beds that adjust and massage at the touch of a button. Bunk rooms that give the younger ones their own world to disappear into.

And a private casita with its own entrance for whoever needs a little breathing room from the group — without actually leaving the trip.

Wander the grounds long enough and you'll find 86 orange trees. Pick a few. Eat one standing in the backyard in the Arizona sun. It's that kind of place — the kind where the small moments end up being the ones people talk about later.

When you do feel like venturing out, State Farm Stadium is ten minutes away, and the West Valley has enough good food, live music, and things to fill an evening that you'll never be short on options.

Most groups find they leave less than they planned to. That's usually the sign of a good trip.
Some places are worth the group chat argument about where to book. This is one of them.
