As autumn paints Hoosier National Forest gold and crimson, this 22-acre retreat above Lake Monroe becomes the perfect basecamp. Soak in the private hot tub while leaves drift down, then gather around the fire pit for s'mores under a clear winter sky. Hiking trails and lake access are close by at Paynetown and Cutright State Recreation Areas, with Indiana University and WonderLab Science Museum nearby in Bloomington. Warm up back at the lodge and let the season set the pace. -- THE PROPERTY -- SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS - Bedroom 1: 1 full bed - Bedroom 2: 1 bunk bed (twin/full) - Bedroom 3: 1 full bed (sleeping nook) - Bedroom 4 (Loft): 1 king bed - Bedroom 5: 1 king bed, 2 twin beds - Bedroom 6: 1 twin bed - Bedroom 7: 1 king bed, 2 twin beds - Bedroom 8 (Apartment Suite): 1 queen bed OUTDOOR LIVING - Hot tub - 22-acre property w/ Lake Monroe & Hoosier National Forest views - Campfire area - Barbecue area INDOOR LIVING - 55" Smart TV, board games - Stand-alone bar - Formal dining table & in-kitchen table - Wooden desk - Jetted tub, washer & dryer KITCHEN - Dishwasher, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave - Secondary well-equipped kitchen (Hickory Suite) - Ample meal prep space ACCESSIBILITY - Multi-level home, step-free entry, bedroom on 1st floor PARKING - Plenty of parking for cars, boats, and trailers -- THE LOCATION -- - Quiet property close to lake access, hiking, boating, fishing & outdoor rec - 2 miles to Paynetown State Recreation Area & Cutright State Recreation Area (Monroe Lake access) - 4 miles to Two Herons Marina - 5 miles to Cartop State Recreation Area - 9 miles to WonderLab Science Museum, Indiana University Memorial Stadium & Indiana University Bloomington - 12 miles to Leonard Springs Nature Park - 60 miles to Indianapolis International Airport -- REST EASY WITH US -- Evolve makes it easy to find and book properties you’ll never want to leave.
