While not near the metro, there are quite a few public transport options - trams and busses.
We waited half an hour for the keys. It's just so bad when you pay €63 for a taxi so you can get from the airport to the apartment as quickly as possible, only to wait in the street. We communicated well and "there was traffic" is not a good excuse. They had our Whatsapp yet messaged us extra rules on the Booking platform - to send "photographic proof" of the keys "to avoid a €50 penalty". Of course we put the keys back, but weren't told of the photo rule when we checked in. OK, we haven't been charged but this is not a professional way to treat your guests.
