Lovely property, the photos don’t do it justice. The kitchen is really well equipped. Very comfortable beds!

It doesn’t have flyscreens - not a deal-breaker but it would be nice to be able to have the windows and doors open when there’s a breeze

Location of the space was lovely. Kitchen was a good size also.

Unfortunately, the property did not provide the relaxing stay we had expected. There was a strong damp smell inside the house, which made it uncomfortable to spend any length of time indoors. We found out from the property manager that this is due to the house being on stilts and rising damp - which would be hard to rectify in the cooler months but when we moved outside to use the decked area (to get away from the smell), we found it full of weeds and the garden neglected, making that space also unpleasant to spend time in. The front porch was really the only part of the property where we felt comfortable sitting for any length of time. The purpose of our stay was to rest and rejuvenate, but unfortunately the condition of both the indoor and outdoor areas made it very difficult to relax and enjoy the property as we had intended. This house might be more suited to stays where you don't intend to spend a lot of time in the actual property itself but use it more as a base.
