The kitchen is conveniently equipped with two cooking rings, a microwave, a coffee machine and a sink. There is ample crockery and some herbs, tea, pasta and rice are provided in the pantry. There is also a fridge with a freezer compartment.You can rent a comfortable studio in the vineyard on the lower slopes of the Pyrenees, which form the border to Spain. It is just a couple of hundred metres to the beach and to the promenade with its cafés, restaurants and bars, so everything you need is within walking distance. Here you can also find the town centre with specialised shops for fish, bread, fruit, meat, vegetables, wine etc. and a proper supermarket. The area around Banyuls is the sunniest and warmest on the French mainland. The summer is hot and dry, while the winter months (January-February) have more rainfall and are cooler. The warmest period is from June to September, with temperatures around 30°C during the day and a little cooler at night. In May and October it is warm and mellow.The terrace with a great view of the sea is bathed in sunlight from morning to evening. A table and four chairs with cushions are provided. There is also a clothes horse for hand towels and swimwear. The entrance to the terrace consists of big glass sliding doors and wooden doors that can be locked.
