Welcome to our charming, listed farmhouse, located on the picturesque Jura heights, just 6 kilometres from the baroque episcopal town of Eichstätt. This idyllic property is the perfect retreat for anyone who wants to escape from everyday life and immerse themselves in the tranquillity of nature without having to sacrifice modern comforts.Inside the house you will find a large, cosy living room with an old, but currently inoperable cast iron stove. A modern kitchen with dishwasher, oven, electric hob, freezer, coffee machine, fridge, toaster and kettle is at your disposal. Two bedrooms offer quiet retreats, and for the comfort of our guests there is a bathroom with WC on the first floor and a separate WC on the ground floor, which is located in the old smokehouse. Additional sleeping accommodation is provided by a sleeping loft, which can be separated by a curtain and has a double sofa bed.The outdoor area invites you to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature with a terrace, a small, furnished garden and a barbecue. Here you can enjoy a coffee in the morning or round off the day with a barbecue in the evening. It may be a non-smoking house, but the fresh air and peaceful surroundings provide the perfect setting to take a deep breath and relax.The area surrounding our farmhouse offers a variety of activities and sights. Just a stone's throw away you will find the episcopal town of Eichstätt with the Willibald Museum, which is housed in Willibaldsburg Castle, or Weißenburg with its Roman archaeological excavations. Nature enthusiasts can explore the local quarry with free admission or visit the nearby Schernfeld Forest Adventure Centre.
