And in the centre of Hitta, every child can enjoy themselves!Experience nature right on your doorstep and enjoy the Valais sunset in the evening without the hustle and bustle of the village. The "Chüestall Hitta" is located right next to the Chüestall at 2200 metres above sea level, far above the village of Riederalp in the Aletsch Arena hiking and skiing area. The chalet can only be reached on foot, skis, snowboard or mountain bike from Riederalp or Bettmeralp. However, the Aletsch Glacier is in the immediate vicinity. Only 900 metres separate the "Chüestall Hitta" from the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Incidentally, the "Chüestall Hitta" was built in 1921 and was already used as accommodation by the alpine farmer who summered his cattle on the lush pastures of the Aletsch region. In 2010, the "Chüestall Hitta" was completely renovated and converted into a chalet.Other sports and leisure activities: Hiking on the Great Aletsch Glacier and in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Mounten Bike without limitsExcursion possibilities: Excursions to ZermattSports options in the surrounding area: mountaineering, golf course, climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, cycling tours, tobogganing, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, tennis
