Vacation in architectural monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the ‘Vacation in architectural monument’ foundation, which was set up by the Swiss Heritage Society in 2005.Public transport: By post bus to Savognin Cresta.
