Windsurfers will find ideal conditions in various bays, and several surf schools offer courses for beginners and advanced surfers (Rehbach approx. 3km away).For mountain and cable car enthusiasts, the funicular railway to Peterskopf is just 1 kilometre away. Once at the top, a spacious viewing platform awaits you after a few minutes' walk, from where you can gaze out over the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park and far into the Waldecker Land region. The Kellerwald-Edersee National Park is known for its unspoilt beech forests, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hikers will find 19 well-signposted circular hiking trails here, which can be combined into longer tours.
