Dear Rental Co., the operator of this site seems to have a rather flexible understanding of truth in advertising - let me sum things up poetically and with the expectation that I am offered a refund....
In twilight's hush, I pen this line,
A tale of wade, a vacation's decline.
Your ad promised WiFi, free and true,
But none is found, and I'm left anew.
A Sauna's siren call, with relaxation's delight,
Beckoned me, but alas, 'twas a fleeting sight.
Weekends only, you said, with a sheepish grin,
We arrived on Monday, no sign of recent kin.
The moldy smell of sauna and Jacuzzi space,
Suggests it's been idle, a neglected place.
No recent use, a promise broken and cold,
A disappointment that our arrival did unfold.
A garden gate's key, you said I'd find,
But now it's stuck, and the key's left behind.
A grey button's secret, why conceal?
A hidden truth, that could have spared my ordeal.
Now I face the gate, a barrier so high,
I must climb over, to enter or say goodbye.
An adventure unplanned, a risk I shouldn't take,
A situation that makes my patience ache.
The view, a solace, a beauty to behold,
But truth in advertising, I'd have preferred to unfold.
The UCPD's clear, Directive 2005/29/EC does state,
Misleading actions are prohibited, don't hesitate.
Codice del Consumo, Decreto Legislativo n. 206/2005 too,
Demand fairness and transparency, it's what consumers pursue.
Increase your budget, for maintenance is key,
And honesty in ads, a virtue to see.
A courtroom's summons, a fate you'd best avoid,
For false claims bring shame, and a tarnished pride.
Let's rectify, this wrong, I implore,
Before the courts decide, and your reputation's score.
I think a refund's in order, a fair exchange,
For the troubles I've faced, and the stress I've borne in vain.
A gesture of goodwill, a sign of your care,
Would be a step in the right direction, with no despair.
