Location is good

To start with the flat is a basement and there wasn't mentioned anywhere in the description. The problem is that it smells dumb and we had to live there for more than 2 weeks. The room is very small without any window and there is nowhere you can store your clothes, no wardrobe no chest of drawer. The are no real kitchen facilities only a portable 2 rings hob. The worst part is that they is completely lucky of fire safety as the flat is on the some building with other flats, an old house conversion, but the fire alarm is not working so in case of a fire you will not be notified. There wasn't a heat detector connected in the kitchen, the glass in the calling point was broken and there was not a carbon monoxide alarm in the flat. Even worse, when we realised all these issues and reported to booking.com they refer us to the management of the flat, who told us that you get what you paid for. So it means our safety has a price.
