Tam Coc Sweet Shelter Bungalow

Absolutely everything! From the moment we arrived we had exceptional service. The property was in the absolute perfect location, just out of town and all the nightlife noise, but only a short 8-10min stroll into town.

Couldn’t fault it at all!

We love the view and quietness here behind the mountains. Every time we went out, we walked through a little path, and saw goats, cows and ducks around to fully experience the natural beauty here! Bicycle is recommended for traveling around in between tourist sites, and the hotel offers it at no extra cost here. Most importantly, the family hosts are super nice and they are willing to help us as always! We needed to buy a specific type of battery for our film camera and the young lady went out of her way to help us with that, traveling to Ninh Binh city and bought it for us. In the morning of the check-out, the host provided us with a full box of sandwiches and fruit for breakfast as we were leaving really early. The stay at Sweet Shelter Bungalow is one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. We are very grateful for the care and kindness the family showed and we can not recommend Sweet Shelter Bungalow enough!

An amazing, beautiful, and clean place. The hosts and owners are simply incredible, kind, and welcoming. The location is great - quiet and special - and just a 5-minute bike ride from town. There are bikes available at the hotel to use free of charge. Great pool, stunning view, and a spacious room. Highly recommended from the bottom of our hearts—you won’t regret it!

Everything was just perfect

Everything! The place is truly lovely—close to the center of Tam Coc yet surrounded by nature. The owners are incredibly sweet, welcoming, and exceptionally kind! They accommodated an early check-in for me, as I arrived in Tam Coc very early on a sleeper bus, and even offered me a complimentary breakfast right upon arrival. During my stay, I was able to use their bicycles for free to explore Tam Coc on my own. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. When I left, they even offered to drive me to the bus station so I wouldn't have to walk with all my luggage. In short: everything was perfect! I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially because the owners are such wonderful people! Thanks for everything.
