Welcome to your private 21-acre luxury lodge on Donner Summit — one of the few rentals in the region offering both a private lake and South Yuba River frontage. This elevated 5-bedroom retreat blends modern comfort with total seclusion, yet sits minutes from Sugar Bowl Resort, Soda Springs Mountain Resort, Royal Gorge, and the historic Rainbow Lodge.

Inside the Lodge
Enjoy vaulted ceilings, warm wood interiors, an open-concept living area, and a cozy wood stove. Large windows frame the forest and bring in natural light throughout the day. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for group meals, and fast Wi-Fi makes the home ideal for remote work, retreats, and long stays.

Your Private Outdoors
Experience your own private alpine paradise. Spend the day swimming in the lake, relaxing on the sandy beach, or exploring over 21 acres of forested property. Guests also have complimentary use of our water equipment, including:

Whether you're paddling across the calm lake at sunrise, enjoying a refreshing swim on a warm afternoon, fishing from the rowboat, or unwinding beside the South Yuba River, the property offers countless ways to connect with nature. As evening falls, gather under a sky filled with stars and enjoy the peace and quiet that only a private mountain retreat can provide.
