I liked the area that the hotel was in as it was near to the Stedelijk, Van Gogh and Rijksmusems. It took me about half an hour to walk to Centraal Station where I took the Eurostar back to London. Albert Heijn supermarket close by with a good range of food items plus toiletries etc.
The room had a double bed or it might have been two singles and was very comfortable. A bathroom with shower, TV, safe, desk and coffee machine with a selection of teas too. The small bin in the room had not been emptied, so a minor gripe but the receptionist was very helpful when I took up the rubbish to her.
A great location and reasonably priced, considering hotels in Amsterdam are not the cheapest but very happy.
