These houses are located in such a cute neighborhood with a great park and little beach just around the corner. The exteriors don’t look like anything special but the interior spaces have all been remodeled. The main beach house is definitely the nicer of the two, with plenty of room to host a family gathering. It could have used a little exterior cleaning on the patio furniture, sliding doors and windows, but some of that is to be expected at the beach. The beach cottage requires climbing about 20 stairs as soon as you enter through the door, so be aware of that. The bathrooms in the cottage are very nice. We were very aware of the smell of some sort of fuel/gasoline in the unit – there is a huge garage under the unit that’s full of maintenance equipment so this might be unavoidable. The price is great for the amount of people that can stay comfortably in both units (we had 12 adults and could have fit one more). We parked 7 cars on the property which was great since we all drove in from various locations. For some reason, the fuse in the main kitchen blew twice in the morning. We also had ants in the kitchen that appeared overnight and we had to throw out a bit of food that was stored in plastic containers, but they got into it anyway. There were ant traps already in the house but maybe it needed to be sprayed. The owners were responsive in getting both issues resolved.
