Stepping inside, you’re greeted by a cozy home, where you are surrounded by warm wood and natural light. The first floor living room is ready for vacation conversations and late night cocktails. The kitchen is ready for meal prep, before feasting at the dining table under the vaulted ceiling, bathed in natural light.
The downstairs living room is a great space to unwind and watch your favorite vacation flick, while you immerse yourself in the surround sound audio system.
When it’s time to sleep, 6 bedrooms comfortably sleep 12 guests in this spacious retreat. Downstairs, two bedrooms, one with two twins and one with a queen bed is the perfect space for extended family. We’d stay here again, but would probably opt to look elsewhere first. The layout is odd with 2 of the 3 full bathrooms inside of bedrooms, leaving the two basement bedrooms and two second floor bedrooms to share the full bathroom in the hall on the second floor (or have others walking through bedrooms to shower). For our party it was a bit inconvenient. The pond is a dud, it’s an overgrown path with thorns leading to an anticlimactic opening. The property was clean and the interior of the house was nice. The beds were very comfortable. My communications with the property manager before my stay were lifeless and unimpressive. I’d recommend they add an electric griddle to the kitchen as well.I’m not a big fan of booking with a corporate entity through vrbo; the idea that I can pay 2000 out of pocket through the site and then still need to sign an additional, undisclosed contract for the rental is bizarre in my mind.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property during the summer of 2023. The house was very clean, spacious, and exactly as portrayed in the photographs and written description. The Del Ray Vacations contacts were very responsive and helpful when we had a few questions. We will definitely consider renting this property again, and will certainly be very confident when working through VRBO and with the Del Ray Vacations team in Orleans, MA. Thank you.
