Cosy secluded and great value

Overall it was a lovely stay. The only thing I'd say, is it could do with a upgrade on the sofa. Really uncomfortable and gave a cold feel to the place.

The privacy & seclusion & the general relaxed atmosphere in lovely surroundings.

Nothing major but the lodge we stayed in (No 16) needed a little TLC in places. Some of the external decking was badly worn & in need of replacing, there had been a leak from the roof & the ceiling was stained which had not been repainted. Also one of the windows above the patio doors had a crack & needs replacing. I have to say none of these issues spoilt our stay & are just comments to improve the experience. As stated we stayed in lodge 16 which was up 2 floghts of steps & the parking set up was not great. We seemed to be parked as far away from our lodge as possible but lodges set on the ground floor had spaces directly outside them. I did speak to your staff who said its always been that way, I feel this set up could be improved to give parking space for lodge 16 much closer.

Friendly staff.

WiFi signal. Number on the lodge. Asked about terrestrial tv on second day and was told 2 days later that they were waiting an arial man! The lodge smelt of damp, every cupboard! No clean linen all week, just 2 bath towels and 3 hand towels for the week!
