Our cozy vacation rental is situated on a nearly 1,000 m² hillside lot, part of which is fenced in. Even from inside, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view of the beautiful Chiemgau mountains.
I live on the first floor and, as your host, am happy to assist you with any questions or requests. Upon request, I’ll share my personal tips for excursions, beautiful walking trails, and special swimming spots—including, of course, options for vacations with your dog.
Chiemgau in the Summer: Summer, Mountains, and Unforgettable Experiences The vacation rental is located at the foot of the Hochberg with an unobstructed view of the Hochfelln and Hochgern—ideal for hikers, cyclists, climbers, and nature lovers. Thanks to excellent transportation links, you can reach Lake Chiemsee in about 15 minutes and Salzburg in about 30 minutes. Ruhpolding, Inzell, and Traunstein are also within easy reach. On the nearby Hochberg, you’ll find wonderful walking trails and breathtaking sunsets. Enjoy the unique blend of mountains, lakes, and Bavarian zest for life. Winter Magic in the Chiemgau In winter, the Chiemgau reveals its romantic side. An approximately 16-kilometer-long cross-country ski trail awaits you on the Hochberg. You’ll find additional trails in Ruhpolding, Eisenärzt, and Inzell. Snowshoeing is also possible right in the surrounding area.
Vacation with Your Dog Dogs have always been part of my family. My faithful male Hovawart, Aik, was by my side for 13 years. In the winter of 2024, Jimi moved in with me—a very special sweetheart on four paws. From my own experience, I know how difficult it can be to find a nice vacation home where even large dogs are warmly welcome. Dogs are welcome guests here! Dogs stay in the vacation rental free of charge. They’ll receive a little treat as a welcome gift. Upon request, I’ll provide tips for dog-friendly outings and walks. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities to explore nature together with your four-legged friend. I’m delighted to welcome every dog that comes to stay with me on vacation with its family!
