Crete has long been hailed as one of Greece’s finest islands for a beach holiday, and the Muses Beach Villas make an irresistible choice for couples seeking contemporary comfort beside the sea. Set along the edge of sandy Kouremenos Beach, this exclusive collection of four one-bedroom villas – Thalia, Erato, Urania and Cleo, the third villa back from the beach – combines sleek design with a relaxed coastal vibe. Each villa is generously proportioned for two and beautifully equipped, offering all the conveniences of home alongside the pleasures of beachside living. With private pools and individual patios the villas are staggered in position to ensure privacy and tranquillity, while the wide expanse of Kouremenos Beach remains wonderfully uncrowded, even in high summer.

A few charming tavernas are just a short walk away, serving authentic local dishes and Sitia wines in a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. For those content to simply unwind, this peaceful stretch of coastline offers the perfect setting for sun-soaked relaxation, but adventure also awaits close by. The rugged mountains and dramatic eastern coastline of Crete are easily explored by car, rewarding the curious with spectacular scenery, hidden coves and a glimpse of the island’s wilder side.

This single-storey 1-bedroom villa (sleeps 2) offers an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area with satellite TV and sliding doors leading to a patio. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher. The double bedroom (150cm x 200cm bed) also opens onto the patio, and there is a modern shower room, making this a comfortable and convenient retreat for couples.
