Questa casa vacanza sulla spiaggia è in una posizione strategica: a due passi da itinerari per l'ecoturismo, da specchi d'acqua in cui navigare in kayak e da molte altre località interessanti. Mettiti al volante: ti bastano 4 minuti per arrivare a Stonington Opera House o appena 4 per giungere a Blue Heron Gallery. Preferisci camminare? Allora lascia il tuo veicolo qui: questa sistemazione offre anche un parcheggio.

Approfitta degli spazi esterni organizzandoti per passare del tempo una terrazza o un patio e un'area barbecue. Non ti va di uscire? Nessun problema: in casa potrai approfittare di Wi-Fi e TV per concederti qualche ora di intrattenimento casalingo.

This cottage on the water was perfect for us. It was outfitted with everything we needed and the views were unsurpassed. We saw loons, otters, osprey and plenty of boats. The lighthouse and waves lulled us to sleep each night. It's an old-fashioned family cottage- nothing fancy but very charming and cozy. Don't be afraid of hard water, just get creative with purified water and hair washing if you care about looking halfway decent.

There are few (if any) views along the Stonington coast that would surpass the one from Half House. From that perspective, the stay well-exceeded expectations.

Pictures can't do the water views justice; the natural beauty before you is just gorgeous! You are as close to the water as you can get. A very peaceful place for a vacation. This home's common areas are very comfortable and bedrooms are comfortable enough tho' more rustic. Drinking water is provided to renters as the well water has a lot of mineral content; we have heard this is common in the Sandy Beach area. The Island Agency was very responsive to our questions & other small issues that came up.

Beautiful view at Half House. Sitting on the porch above the ebbing & flowing tide is intoxicating. Close walk to Sand Beach was perfect for exploring. Only drawbacks are the full size beds (queens would be better) and iron smell of water. Plenty of drinking and cooking water is supplied with a Poland Spring bubbler. Our family enjoyed diving right off the rocks into water! View of Harbor islands is exactly the “Maine” experience we were looking for. We spotted otters, seals, bald eagles, osprey and sea minks believe it or not. The minks swim! The lobster 🦞 buoys are so scenic and I assure you they are not props. This place is the real deal for an authentic Stonington experience ;-) With new beds this place would be 5 star..
