The facility could use sp.e major updates because of age.

Easy to find, convenient parking. Helpful staff. 24/7 convenience store and gas station next door, so essentials are covered. Close to Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. Staff was friendly, helpful. Under new management, sign said, 2026.

This motel was great to explore the area. It was close to the highway and good for an overnight. The room was clean and the area was safe. While the hotel was dated and could use a little TLC, we would definitely recommend Katahdin Valley Motel for anyone looking to explore the beauty in this part of Maine.

We had a disastrous night with loud neighbors fighting and had to call the police. The management was very apologetic (even though it wasn’t their fault), refunded that night’s stay, and moved us into a nicer room far away for the next night.
We really appreciate the effort!
