This comfortable and well-equipped two-room flat is located on the 1st floor of a chalet in mint condition. From the spacious balcony, you can enjoy an enchanting view of Lake Thun, the Niederhorn and the Alps and towards Interlaken and Thun.KITCHEN:The large and very well-equipped kitchen includes a ceramic hob, oven, large fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. The equipment also includes a NESPRESSO coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hand blender, raclette oven and fondue caquelon with rechaud.LIVING AND DINING ROOM:The living/dining room has a large table, home TV with over 300 channels, DVD, digital radio, good WiFi and a comfortable sofa that can be converted into a single bed if necessary.BEDROOM:The small cosy bedroom offers a double bed with two separate comfort mattresses. It also has direct access to the balcony.The flat also has its own laundry room and an outside private car park. The lift in the building is certainly a big plus.LOCAL DESCRIPTION:Aeschi and the slightly higher situated Aeschiried are situated on a sunny terrace and offer a marvellous view of the surrounding mountain panorama and Lake Thun. The village is still characterised by agriculture, folklore and tradition. Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, Aeschi offers peace, relaxation and unspoilt nature. Thanks to its central location, all the well-known excursion destinations in the Bernese Oberland are within easy reach. Aeschi can be reached quickly and easily by public transport (train to Spiez and bus to Aeschi/Aeschiried) as well as by private car.INFRASTRUCTURE:The village centre with two grocery shops, a bakery, butcher's shop, two banks, a flower shop, kiosk, various restaurants and an indoor swimming pool as well as a doctor can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes.

Aeschi is a charming little village that pretty much closes up at 6:00 but we had a great apartment to cook in. It is decorated well and the kitchen is very functional with everything we needed. We were met by a very sweet associate of the owner who showed us how to use everything, like the lift, and where to leave our key. She left her number in case we had any questions and we went to the balcony to be amazed by it's large size and the amazing views. We would definitely rent this apartment again. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable!
