Newly refurbished Holiday Inn Express, located very well for overnight stop en route to the West Country. Access easy. Welcome warm. Hotel clean, fresh and spacious. Room clean and spacious. Enormous bed for a budget hotel and comfy too. Great shower. Breakfast: decent choice; maybe when the hotel's not very busy, refresh the hot stuff little and often, as some items showed signs of being kept hot for too long. Parking: easy but charge came as a bit of a shock. Accept that it's on the website, but not on the face of the quote or invoice - a couple of clicks down the system?
