I enjoyed the 60 min return walk into the historical village and lake then an evening walk behind the hockey field (2 min away across the road) that had interesting facts about tuatara.

Location. Room was an adequate size and was warm enough. A quiet street.
The hot water was inadequate and a few items were missing which would have been helpful for us. Eg tissues and shampoo. The towels were not the best as were thin.
