The stay overall is really nice, the property is managed/owned by the Family, and they were the most kind people we encountered in Sri lanka, they hosted us like we were their family members, they made sure we were comfortable. Location is 5 mins walking distance from the beach, They also helped us with the restaurants, places around to visit etc. They also have connections with watersports which are very affordable.
Honestly there wasn't anything that we didnt like, but i would like to suggest couple improvements, majorly WIFI. Network connectivity and wifi can be improves as we were working remotely whilst on the trip and Wifi wasn't working most of the time. And maybe washrooms can be modified a bit. Rest everything was good.

We had the best stay at Syura guesthouse. The owners were so nice, they welcomed us with juice and cake. For breakfast they also brought out some food and coffee. And then when we left they gave us a home-made present!! The rooms are simple but clean, there is A/C and everything one might need. The location is a bit further from Trincomalee centre but only a 5 min drive with tuktuk. This was no problem for us. It’s a short walk to the beach and supermarket.
