Stayed with my husband and small dog for 4 nights. Our check in instructions had the wrong instructions for the front door and since we checked in after 5 pm, it took a while to get a response with the proper procedure to open the door. The location is on a quiet street just a short walk to the beach but longer walk if you want to go anywhere else. The cottage is cute and appears to be recently updated but could use some better details to make the place more comfortable. The kitchen is large but lacking in some basics (no large pot or casserole dishes). Some dishes and the waffle maker were dirty. My husband appreciated the press pot and fresh coffee beans. Bathroom and shower were good and there were plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable but there is no good reading light in either bedroom and a lot of light comes through the blinds so bring eye shades. The larger bedroom has a closet but it was locked so there is no hang bar for clothes except in the very small wardrobe in the smaller bedroom. We found the sofa not comfortable to sit on. The hot tub was nice. Overall we would not book this particular place again because I feel it's a bit overpriced for a place with no ocean view.
