Modern one-bedroom with a loft and one-bath cabin, plus queen-sized sleeper sofa and private hot tub on four wooded acres. Steps from Stella’s Mercantile for local provisions and a short stroll to Le Petit Chevalier Winery.

The space
Tucked just feet from the tree line, The Onyx House stands like a quiet thought made real. Modern architecture lines and expansive windows contrast with the rustling canopy of trees that lie just behind. Designed for those seeking stillness, connection to nature, and luxury amenities, this modern retreat shares four wooded acres in the Hocking Hills area with its sister property, The Siverly House. For larger gatherings, consider renting both homes to share the experience with family or friends.

After a restful night in the spacious King bedroom, head out to the private back patio to enjoy your morning coffee as the day unfolds. Soak in the seven-person hot tub while taking in the stunning night sky, or sit back and relax as rain and birdsong drift through the trees.

In the loft, wake to treetop views from the King bed as morning light filters softly into your day. The Onyx House features a spacious full-size kitchen with modern appliances, a dishwasher, and everything you need to effortlessly prepare any meal after a day of adventure and exploration. An elegant full bath offers a double vanity sink and spacious rain shower for a spa-like experience.

Spend the day kayaking, canoeing, swimming, or fishing at Lake Logan (34 min drive) or Lake Hope (24 min drive). Only 10 minutes to Ash Cave, 19 minutes to Old Man’s Cave, and just a short drive to many other outdoor excursions that Hocking Hills and Vinton County have to offer, then retreat back to this tranquil Oasis.

Add-on Experience:
Enhance your stay with a private, in-home couples massage—no driving, no schedules to chase. Just the two of you, unwinding together in the comfort of the cabin as skilled hands ease away the stress of everyday life. It’s the perfect way to slow time, reconnect, and turn your getaway into something truly unforgettable.
