A beautiful and secluded place with exquisite architecture and wonderful choice of materials. Peaceful, quiet and very special — we had a lovely stay! Great for families. Responsive host.
A simple guide to the onsen (placed in the bathroom) and the hot-water/gas system would also be useful, especially explaining how the different controls affect the water temperature.
The kitchen has limited equipment, so it is best suited for preparing simple meals. Sound insulation between the apartments is limited. Our neighbours played very loud music until late on our first night. This is of course not the host’s fault, but clearer information about quiet hours might be helpful.

"Clean and modern property with private onsen, sauna and cold plunge. We booked for two nights which wasn’t enough. Next time, we will come for a week.
Cons:
It took us 50 minutes by bus from Odawara..."
