The location is excellent, right in the center and just next to the beach. The room was very spacious, which made it really comfortable, and the balcony had lovely views of the jungle. We even had monkeys visiting in the mornings!
The rooftop is definitely the highlight of the hotel, with a beautiful pool, great views over the jungle and the sea, and good music. A lovely place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The sound insulation in the room could be improved. It wasn’t a problem during most of our stay, but on the last night some guests came back from a party around 3 a.m., and we could hear them quite clearly, especially as they didn’t lower the noise when we asked them to. Since the rooms are already very spacious, we felt that some of that extra space could perhaps have been used to improve the insulation instead.

We really liked the location of the property, and the food was decent and reasonably priced. The café attached to the property was also a great bonus, with some really nice dessert options. Breakfast was good too, especially having a choice of options rather than only traditional Sri Lankan breakfast.
The room was very spacious, but perhaps a little too large for what we needed, so some of the space felt unnecessary. We were also located quite close to the restaurant and bar area, and there was loud music playing until quite late, even on Sunday night, which made it difficult to relax and get to sleep. The property also doesn’t have an elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up around four flights of stairs, which was quite inconvenient.

The location was superb. Very close to everything. The staff were very nice, the breakfast was great. The rooms looked amazing.
The bed was not comfortable, it felt like I was sleeping on plastic. I think they put a plastic covering under the sheet to protect the mattress. It was also extremely noisy. Very loud music all night from neighbouring venues. I was on the ground level and could also gear a noisy street and people right out the front in the cafe at all hours of the night - I didn't sleep well.
