Large house, convenient location with close amenities. Not far from a bunch of takeaways and reasonable shops. Plenty of room, and the location on the corner gave better parking options than most of the street. The neighbourhood was reasonably quiet.

Slightly awkward to collect keys, we were sent the lock box wrong code at first and our friends had to phone to get the correct code. The host mentioned prior to our stay that there were no towels available, but we were able to bring our own. The main TV was (presumably) broken, and packed up under the stairs. Luggage from former occupants was left in the house, and we found leaflets in the kitchen mentioning that sometimes it was used as a multi-occupancy Women's Refuge / Safe House. Slightly concerning was that several additional sets of keys were left in the house so we left the chain on at night.
