Everything! The room was very comfortable and spacious with big fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. Definitely the best accommodation of our trip across Crete. The balcony was big and well equipped. Breakfast was included and served until 12.00 noon. Loutro is small and very laid back. Castella Luxe is the perfect location if you really want to get off the beaten track. And the staff were lovely too.

The steep path up to the property could be challenging in the heat but well worth the climb once you reached the top.

Breakfast choices were excellent. Staff very efficient and friendly

The walkway to the property is steep and can be slippery. Could be difficult if people have mobility challenges.

The location was exceptional! Superb boutique hotel on top of a cliff. Awesome sea views from the room and large deck, quiet, yet quick walk into town. There is a beautiful patio serving a fabulous breakfast and beverages overlooking the sea. The rooms sit adjacent to the E4 trail, fantastic for hiking to beaches and tavernas. The host, Dione was amazing, friendly and so accommodating! She gave us outstanding restaurant and adventure recommendations. Her team was fantastic, Eleni and Nikos were such a pleasure. The private terraced sun patios for the beach are magnificent overlooking the stunning blue water. It was truly an amazing experience! We are already making plans to return. 2 days in Loutro at Castella Luxe were not enough! Dione has given us a 7 day itinerary for the next visit!
