Solar House Hotel

Read this before booking Irani made my stay feel like home, it was my favorite guesshouse ive been in sri lanka. The human touch, the kind heart and contagious laugh was well needed. Everything is superclean, toilet works, hot water works, bed comfy, you can use the kitchen, she can make you the best home cook sri lankan meal youll ever have. No angry dogs anywhere, only funny chickens Not a sound at night, spacious rooms. There's a private acces to the ocean At night you can go sit next to the ocean and look at the moon shine over the water surrounded by millions of fireflies. It was magical I've rented a motorbike and I could sleep tight knowing it was safe since the place is surrounded by walls and locked at night. It is a quiet and warm place to take a break from the big touristic place. There's talalla beach 2 min ride from there where you can have this magnificent 2km beach for yourself and have a beer in the shade without being harash by seller. There's a restaurant five min walk from there that serve the biggest fried rice ive ever had and good hoppers too for local price. It's 10min ride from the touristic area too so you can go get your avocado toast if its what makes you happy. It is a woman that run the place so it is totaly safe for women guess. Authentic, warm, humble, affordable, safe and calm. Thank you for a wondefull stay my friend

Спокойное, тихое место на берегу океана, возле автобусной остановки и недалеко от железнодорожной станции. Оптимальное соотношение цены и качества, цена просто отличная! Очень тепло встретила администратор Irani, всё время была на связи, во всём помогала и давала ценные советы. Проживание было комфортным и скоро я надеюсь приехать снова. Всем рекомендую. До Диквеллы/ Хирекетии/ Тангалле ходит множество автобусов. Лучший вариант на всём побережье от Мириссы до Тангалле.

The place itself is super spacious, spotlessly clean, and has such a cozy, relaxed vibe. We had the best time here. The host was so warm and welcoming. The favourite part was the huge garden, perfect for lounging around with a cup of tea or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Access was really easy too, with clear directions and prompt replies. Do not skip the homemade Sri Lankan breakfast there. That was delicious and so much flavour.

Nothing Special, The hotel was comfortable and functional. Personal opinion, I think with some lighter or more cheerful interior colors would be an plus point
