Actually very good quiet location. Private suite entrance . friendly personal meeting upon late travel arrival.

It was quite cold. In main bedroom and living room. No control over temperature. There were three of us and primary booking guest slept on comfortable futon in very small living room but very poor bedding’s. The bedding did not smell freshly cleaned. And not the least sufficient warm comforting bedding or towels provided. Furthermore. Suite provided a coffee maker and a few packs of coffee but no cream or milk. But good price.

A good value

This is a UDA style basement apartment in a very suburban neighborhood with an owner who monitors guests activities via wifi enabled devices. There is no security from entry to the unit from the owner’s living quarters, so if you are a woman traveling alone, this might not be the rental for you. All in all, it was ok for the price, but this was a less than ideal location with thin walls and an overly controlling property owner. Being talked to by the owner for using the stove too much is not the way this unit was advertised. I was just making a pot of beans on low heat.

This was a great place to stay! Really clean. Very helpful, supportive, and welcoming host who answered questions quickly. The apartment appliances were modern and smart—they could even be connected to apps on a smartphone, and the washing machine and tumble dryer sang to you when the cycles were finished! The apartment was well-furnished with lots of lovely finishing touches. We stayed for a week, and it felt so homely and peaceful. There was a fantastic children's play park in the neighbourhood too. Our daughter loved playing there, and it was great to see the local kids playing together—such a friendly, welcoming community. The location is great, just a few minutes' walk to Long Lake. There are lovely walking trails around the lake and swimming in it was a fantastic experience. We found it easy to walk to the shopping areas by going through Long Lake toward the water activity centre. It took us about 20-30 minutes walk each way. There were plenty of stores nearby, including Sobeys, Shoppers Drug Mart, and liquor stores, as well as dastfood places. It was also just an easy few minutes' drive away to get to them. We frequently took the bus to downtown Halifax, and the neighbourhood even has a weekday express bus route directly to the downtown core. Overall a fantastic property, we enjoyed it very much and would definitely stay here again.

Nothing to put here, we honestly really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
