Clean and a good value

We had a nice stay, the location is great, it was clean, cosy, comfortable.
The check in can be tricky, we never received the text so we called and the staff on the phone was helpful.

My room was exceptionally clean and the towels and bedding were fresh and comfortable.
It’s an older hotel, but they have taken care to update where possible.
There could have been brighter lighting in the room for us older clients.
The bed and chairs were comfortable. The added instructions for the TV was an added plus

No breakfast, that’s ok outstanding restaurant nearby
Check in No Front Desk person. I was not told that, but had to find that out when I arrived. Was told I would get a text message which would give me the code for my key that did not happen. I had to call and help my self my sister and another person try to get their keys. For something so major of a change it was not communicated at all.
