Very comfortable new apartment building. Well equipped for a longer stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. There's a washing machine and freezer too so it feels like home. The whole apartment was very clean and smelled nice. The balcony doesn't get any direct sun which kept the kitchen and lounge nice and shaded. It was lovely to sit out at any time of the day. Air-conditioning was so welcome as the temperature was around 34c every day and made sleeping difficult without it! The pool is a good size and very clean. There is off-street parking available. The host, Luisella was really helpful.

It's annoying to have to collect the key from a nearby hotel, especially after a long travel day. Also, a neighbour would often park in the designated parking spot which was frustrating when returning home after a day out. The bed pillows were a little too firm for us, but that's also personal preference. The bedrooms would benefit from some coat hangers. Also, some basic cleaning items such as surface spray and cloths would be helpful; after a week-long stay I wanted to freshen the kitchen but it wasn't so easy. The pool has restricted access during the mid-day period which was a little frustrating as I was travelling with teens who would want to make use of it during the hottest moments. There is also no shade around the pool in the middle of day. La Ciaccia is very small so be prepared to drive out for dinner.
