Being an old house. It was well set out, without taking away its heritage. Lovely setting by the river. Great to have adjacent cafe attached to it. Lovely home made food. Choice of free breakfast. Beautiful plants and flowers everywhere.
Nothing I didn’t like. Although not having a door on the ensuite bathroom might seem a bit odd to some. But that’s how many ensuites are today. The bathroom was very big and well planned though.

It was a clean room with beautiful decor, it was warm and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. We loved that it had a beautiful rustic cafe attached and that it was located on the banks of the Macquarie River. Also, we loved how close it was to the city centre.

A truly gorgeous and unique experience to stay in a building on the river built in 1836
Maggie and Jeff have done superb job of reimagining this property as a B&B and its complimented by the adjoining River Cafe - great location , excellent F&B and lovely staff.
that we only booked and stayed one night
