Very comfy bed clean and tidy

Nothing really

Nice staff in reception, great masseuse in the spa who gave me advice on where to go afterwards- a heated relaxation room, and lovely rural location, peace & quiet

No oven for cooking but there was a hob & microwave

Loved the large windows, plenty of light! The large shower was fab, enjoyed the hot tub more than I expected, nice and quiet! Spa staff exceptional Maintenance guy, friendly and solved the problem Pleased I had WiFi

Nk toilet paper in the toilet Television not working, couldn't get hold of reception or hotel to talk to someone. Finally resolved on the Thurs my last night. Guys checking on hot tubs too early in the morning

Break away was good. Beds , kitchen utensils, oven great, living room mostly comfortable. That i booked 2 bedroom for 2 of us, gave us more space.

Hot tub down steps out kitchen door, open to passers by. Staff did offer to try and find screen if I required, it was just unexpected. Smelly hot tub, jets not powerful. Outdoor seating area was at other side of " lodge" facing nextdoors hot tub, and into their lodge, so we didnt use it. Lodge was more " caravan", bathroom tiny, shower small, water low pressure, not great, crack in sink, mirrors old worn in corners. With having a " bathroom" each, was our saving grace. Lodge was way too far away to walk back and forth to onsite facilities, we managed it once, given dodgy old bones, booked restaurant once ( staff kindly helped with that) other than that , you have to ring, you cannot do it by app, and when you look online restaurant came up as fully booked. We gave up, didnt bother. Local pubs etc stop serving food at random times, not in line with what they advertise online, we gave up trying and I cooked mostly shopping at local coop a short drive away. Oven was great... microwave unusable, the digits on timer are still broken, I noticed both that comment, comment about cracked sink, and distance from facilities after I had already booked this from past visitors.
