Location and charm. Beautiful gardens. Kitchen was stocked for us and firewood ready for use.
Lounge chair was uncomfortable haha.

absolutely gorgeous, the grounds were amazing and the staff onsite were lovely to talk to! So much wildlife around, and the welcome from the peacocks was the best :)

Peaceful location, very cute and cosy cottage, perfect for a quiet getaway.
Spectacular gardens to roam through and enjoy.
The only downsides were that the lake shown in the photos is empty and this wasn’t mentioned prior to arrival. As this was a main reason we booked, it was a little disappointing.
Water to us is calming & relaxing.
We also found the furniture wasn’t particularly comfortable, though this may come down to personal preference.
Otherwise, a nice stay overall.
