The apartment is in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the bustling streets and the harbour views, yet it is a side street, so remains pretty quiet. Very clean and sympathetically decorated, the stairs up to the bedroom and worn by centuries of footsteps. Air conditioning was great and essential when we were there late August. Well equipped kitchen, with a few basics also provided (tea/coffee) Chilled water and wine in the fridge on arrival which was welcome. Bed was comfortable. Shower was decent. A great base for exploring Valletta and Malta.

Only minor issues… The door can be an initial challenge, but you get used to it. Be aware there is no natural light on the ground floor, so you need to have lights on any time of day. As others have said, a more robust division between the toilet and the bathroom/bedroom would be good. A couple of hooks somewhere downstairs would be good for bags etc

Convenient location

Unfamiliar stuff about the property
