Mercure Quimper Kerlic

I had a very early hospital appointment next door, so the location of the hotel was perfect. My husband really enjoyed his breakfast (I unfortunately was not allowed to eat before my hospital visit). The bed was very comfortable and the room very spacious and quiet.

The spacious bedroom would have benefited from a small sofa or two comfy chairs. We didn't particularly like the carpeted floor in the bedroom (or its colour pattern choice, which was reminiscent of our grandparents' carpet!) - also, despite the hotel only being in its first 6 months of being open, the carpet already had brown stains on it, in the entrance hallway and outside the toilet entrance, which was not a good look. The bathrobes provided in the bathroom (which were hung and folded in a way to presumably show that they were 'fresh' were actually unpressed / tumbled and were very creased, in an unappealing way - it did not induce us to want to use them, which was a shame. The decor chosen for the hotel bedroom, particularly the rough 'unfinished' concrete ceiling and some of the walls wase not to our taste and made us feel like we were sleeping in a bunker!! That said, these are only our personal preferences! And all in all, we enjoyed our brief stay and will use the hotel in the future, for its convenient location
