RR Heritage Stay – (*_") Had a wonderful stay at RR Heritage Stay in Mavungal, Kanhangad. The beautiful old tiled Kerala house gives the place a unique traditional charm, while the peaceful surroundings make it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The cozy rooms, homely atmosphere, and authentic Kerala feel made the experience truly special. The property is surrounded by greenery, including coconut trees, banana plants, pepper vines, and other tropical plants. There’s also a beautiful temple within walking distance and a lake nearby, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. For food, you can easily order through Swiggy or Zomato, or visit nearby restaurants, which are around 1 km away. Another major advantage is the location—it’s just about 500 meters from National Highway 66, making it convenient for travelers. This is a very cheap & great budget -friendly option for travelers who just need a place to sleep and rest. If you’re looking for a luxurious or resort-style stay, this may not be the right choice. But for budget travelers who appreciate traditional Kerala homes, greenery, peace, and a homely atmosphere, I would definitely recommend it. Highly recommended for those who want to experience the warmth and simplicity of traditional Kerala hospitality!

roof is small and need to mind our heads.

RR Homestay is an old Kerala-style house with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. We a family of 4, stayed for 3 days. It is a very basic home with simple amenities, offered at a very affordable price. If you are looking for a luxury stay, this may not be the right choice. However, it is perfect for budget travelers and normal families who prefer a simple and economical stay. The house remains cool inside compared to the outside temperature, which makes it comfortable even during hot days. We ordered food through Swiggy and Zomato, and the owner also provides home-cooked food at a minimal price if needed. There are also small local restaurants and grocery shops within walking distance, which is very convenient. Overall, our stay was good and pleasant. It’s a simple, budget-friendly home suitable for travelers who value affordability over luxury. :)

As it is an old tiled house, the roof height is low in certain areas, so guests should mind their head while entering.
