The host was very kind and helpful. The room was spotless and plenty of comfort.

The location was excellent; the bed was comfortable; the host was very helpful although always by phone; the apartment had everything required except sufficient clothes storage space

Access to the flat location from the Fado Museum area was up several steep paths and flights of steps; access to the flat itself was up a narrow staircase; overall this flat would not suit guests with mobility problems; the room was small with tiny shower compartment and had insufficient clothes storage space

LOVE LOVE LOVE We had a two week trip through Europe and this was our absolute favorite accommodation of the entire trip. It’s close to the bustle of multiple restaurants and experiences, yet set back enough in a neighborhood where you can get a good nights sleep. The owner is a joy and quick with recommendations. The AC and WiFi a thrill after traveling through Basque Country and lacking both multiple times. The kitchen and washing machine also made it easy to relax as we started to windows before heading home. You’re less than a 5 minute walk to the water and about 10-15 from a major plaza. You’re also walking distance to all the shopping in should definitely explore Alfama further cause you’re legit right there. Everyone in the neighborhood is kind and welcoming. Will definitely be staying here or at another one of the owners apartments again!
