A Thoughtful Home Base for Focused Work and Real Rest
This restored 1875 Victorian sits in the quiet village of Canaan, Vermont, at the crossroads of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Canada. It offers a steady, comfortable place to land for traveling professionals, remote workers, and anyone needing calm between demanding days. The home is close to regional hospitals, essential services, and easy access to lakes, rivers, and walking trails.
The private second-floor apartment features two bedrooms. One bedroom is set up for restful sleep, while the second offers flexibility for work or additional sleeping space and includes a small desk positioned for quiet, focused work. Thick walls, tall windows, and natural light create a peaceful atmosphere throughout the day, with dark, quiet nights ideal for deep rest.
Amenities include fast, reliable Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking proper meals, a full bathroom with a hot shower, comfortable seating, and consistent heat. The space is intentionally simple and functional—everything works, and nothing competes for your attention.
Outdoors, guests can step outside into a classic New England village setting. Lakes, rivers, and trails are just minutes away, making it easy to decompress with a short walk or fresh air break. Evenings are quiet, with minimal light pollution and clear views of the night sky.
This is not a flashy vacation rental—it’s a practical, peaceful home base designed to support focus during the day and genuine recovery at night. If your work requires steadiness, clarity, and rest, this space offers exactly that.
