My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures matched the environment and the lake view was spectacular. The managing host was responsive to our questions. The home was well stocked with dishes, kitchen appliances and towels in the bathrooms. Plenty of room for more guests than we had in our group. The beds were very comfortable. The neighbor next door was very friendly and courteous. We hope to return again to enjoy another summer or the fall visit.

The house was exceptionally larger and the property and parking was great.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations due to several issues with the property. The most concerning issue was finding mouse droppings in some of the kitchen drawers, especially where dishes and kitchen items are stored. The air conditioning was also not working in three of the rooms. To the host’s credit, they were responsive in sending someone to inspect it, followed by an HVAC technician. However, communication after that was lacking. I had to reach out for an update and was told a part needed to be ordered, but we never received another update and the issue was never resolved during our stay. The garbage situation was also frustrating. There were no garbage totes on the property, and we were instructed to leave trash bags by the front door. Since we weren’t comfortable leaving garbage outside overnight, we ended up keeping multiple bags of trash in the kitchen for the duration of our stay. The outside of the property also appeared to need attention, with dead flowers and overgrown weeds. There was also very little information provided beyond the door code and Wi-Fi password. A simple welcome guide with details about trash disposal, TV/streaming setup, and other house information would have made the stay much smoother. The home has potential, and we appreciated that the host attempted to address the A/C issue. However, the cleanliness concerns, unresolved maintenance problems, lack of communication, and overall upkeep made this a disappointing experience
