The idea to establish an apartment was born during one of our own family holidays in Šumava. We have always loved this area - lush forests, vast meadows, hiking trails that lead you to breathtaking views, and in winter, endless skiing opportunities. However, at the same time, we often found that we lacked accommodation that would meet all our needs as a family - space, privacy, comfort, and at the same time proximity to natural beauty and sports. That is why we decided to create a place that would offer exactly this. And so the Ski Apartment pod Zadovem was born.

Who are we here for

From the beginning, we designed our apartment with families, couples and individuals who want to experience the best of Šumava in mind. Our goal is to create a space where everyone feels at home, even when they are far from home. Who are our ideal guests?

Families with children

We know that holidays with children can sometimes be demanding, so we have adapted our apartment to offer maximum comfort. Spacious interior, a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your favorite meals, and a safe environment where your children can play while you relax with a magical view of the Šumava meadows. In addition, our location is perfect for family trips - whether to the hiking trails or to the Zadov ski area, which is only an 8-minute drive away.

Winter sports lovers

Skiers, snowboarders and cross-country skiers - you are welcome! Thanks to our proximity to Zadov and other ski resorts, we are the ideal place for your winter adventure. After a day on the slopes, you can relax in our cozy apartment, have a hot tea and enjoy the peace that evenings in the Šumava Mountains bring.

Nature and hiking lovers

Šumava is a paradise for hikers – from easy family walks to more challenging hikes rewarded with breathtaking panoramas. Our location on the edge of the picturesque village of Stachy offers the perfect starting point for all your adventures. Whether you are looking for peaceful walks or passionate about discovering natural beauty, you will find what you are looking for here.

Foreign guests

Ski apartman pod Zadovem has also been loved by tourists from Austria and Germany who are discovering the magic of Czech nature. We offer communication in foreign languages, and thanks to our location in the border area, we are easily accessible to travelers from all over Europe.

Why us?

There are many accommodation options on the market. Why should you choose Ski apartman pod Zadovem? Because we are more than accommodation. We are a destination.

Unique peace and privacy

Our apartment is located in a small apartment building with only six other apartments, which guarantees intimacy and peace that you won't find in classic hotel resorts. In addition, our view of endless meadows gives a magical feeling of connection with nature.

Perfect location

Stachy, our home, is a picturesque village with complete civic amenities. You will find a shop, restaurant, café, tourist information center and medical assistance if needed. And all this just a short distance from the best Šumava hiking trails and ski resorts. You can enjoy the comfort of civilization and at the same time be close to nature.

Modern equipment and comfort

Our apartment is equipped to meet all the needs of a modern family on 70m2 available for 3+1. Comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi connection and plenty of space for you and your belongings. Whether you are planning an active vacation or a relaxing stay, our equipment is here for you.

Family-friendly

We are not an anonymous hotel chain. Everything we do, we do with love and a personal approach. We are here for you to ensure that your holiday is carefree, comfortable and full of beautiful memories. The Zadov ski area has a quality ski and snowboard school for even the youngest skiers.

What will you experience with us?

Imagine waking up in the morning to the peaceful sound of birdsong, opening the window and breathing in the fresh Šumava air. Then you spend the whole day exploring the surrounding nature - hiking, cycling, skiing or romantic walks. In the evening you will return to our apartment, where the warmth of home, a view of the sunset over the meadows and the opportunity to share experiences with your loved ones await you.

We believe that our apartment is not just a place to sleep. It is a space where stories, friendships and memories are created that you will want to experience again and again.

Come to us and experience Šumava as you have never seen it before.
We look forward to seeing you at the Ski Apartment pod Zadovem – your second home in the heart of Šumava!
