Little Roost is a private, romantic rural hideaway for two, offering a peaceful setting just moments from the heart of Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast. Set over two floors, this charming contemporary cottage is ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking comfort, privacy and an excellent location.

On the ground floor, you’ll find an open-plan kitchen and living area, thoughtfully designed for relaxing, dining or working. The space is bright and welcoming and works well as a comfortable workspace, supported by BT superfast Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and all necessary utensils for easy self-catering. A washing machine adds to the convenience of longer or shorter stays. An oak staircase leads upstairs to a tranquil bedroom with a king-size double bed, creating a calm and restful retreat. Also on this level is a modern bathroom with shower, finished to a high standard.

Outside, Little Roost benefits from private parking in an adjacent carport, complete with an EV charger. Above the cottage is a delightful private roof garden with a table, chairs and sun lounger — perfect for outdoor dining or relaxing in the sun, surrounded by scented flowers and herbs in the summer months.

Little Roost is perfectly located for exploring Lyme Regis and the surrounding area. A beautiful riverside walk along the River Lim Path leads directly into Lyme Regis town and the famous Jurassic Coastline. A local village pub and an Esso garage with village shop are just a 10-minute walk away, offering fresh bread, groceries, wines, newspapers and beer. Nearby are Uplyme village tennis courts, Lyme Regis golf course, and wonderful coastal and countryside walks. Bridport, West Bay, Honiton and stunning Jurassic Coast beaches are all within easy reach, with Exeter around 45 minutes away by car or train from Axminster station (4 miles).
