We went to Shaver Lake last weekend for a snowboarding/family getaway. Let’s start with the host Amanda, she is amazing! We had a couple of questions regarding our booking details, she was extremely helpful and responsive. She did warn us about the road conditions as they just had a major snow storm a couple days prior, but we were prepared.As far as the cabin, we were looking for something to accommodate our family, friends and two small dogs. Upon arrival the cabin was warm, welcoming and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was very clean and spacious with amazing views. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms have definitely been remodeled with some modern touches. It is fully equipped with everything you would need.

We had a wonderful time at Dogwood Retreat for a long ski weekend. The home is gorgeous, with amazing views, lovely furnishings, and well- stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of room for our two families to spread out. Beds were so comfortable, everything was clean and felt brand new. Would highly recommend and definitely hope to stay here again.
