Perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small families, this beautifully appointed lakefront studio offers everything you need for a breezy, tranquil getaway. Nestled on a private road with direct access to scenic bike trails, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds — peaceful seclusion and proximity to Empire’s charming town center, just one mile away.

Step outside to experience the natural beauty that surrounds you. The property offers private access to both Lake Michigan’s sandy shoreline and South Bar Lake, located just behind the studio. Spend your days kayaking, hiking, or exploring local favorites such as Empire Bluff Trail, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, South Manitou Island, the Sleeping Bear Point Coast Guard Station Maritime Museum, and the iconic Dunes Overlook.

From your private deck, take in breathtaking lake views before heading down the stairs to the beach. Gather around the firepit in the evening for stories, s’mores, and unforgettable sunsets over the water.

Inside, the cozy, family-friendly studio features a mini fridge with freezer, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker (with paper cups, sugar, and creamer provided). Relax on the comfortable sofa and enjoy your favorite shows or movies on the cable-equipped TV.

New portable air conditioning unit installed in 2026 for your ultimate summer comfort.
