The mountain view from the bedroom is so picturesque. Clean, warm and comfortable home approx 40 mins from LakeTekapo. Everything you need for comfortable stay. Fairlie has a supermarket and Kimbil a great pub for a meal.

Nothing to dislike. The road in is gravel for about 3 kms onway in. If your travelling with ice packs for an esky there is no freezer compartment to re freeze.

Nice, clean and spacious place. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice place for a family. Owners also responsive and helpful.

Beautiful views!

It was not clean, and this was disappointing as the previous reviews were so excellent. The double on the main bedroom has a very hard mattress and if one of occupants moves, the other person does to. There a fire alarm that regularly flashes right an above the bed. This is absolutely unnecessary location to have one (it could be in the entrance to the bedroom) and disturbs sleep. There were dead flies in several places throughout the house. There is a window pane missing in the kitchen cabinet. The lighting in the main living areas is awful. Way too bright! We had to leave them off in the evening as we felt uncomfortable with them on. There were no instructions about how to enter the property but the door was open so that’s how we left it as well.
