Brigitte ist ein wundervoller Mensch, herzlich, hilfsbereit, lebensfroh und witzig. wir haben uns sofort zu hause gefühlt! die räume sind alle renoviert und liebevoll eingerichtet. es gibt alles was man braucht und mehr. Mit carlos und seiner familie wird das paket abgerundet und perfekt! sie alle haben dazu beigetragen, dass unser aufenthalt entspannt, sorgenfrei und grandios war! ich kann tio toms nur empfehlen und hoffe irgendwann wieder zu kommen!

We had the most amazing stay at Tio Tom's Guesthouse on Bastimentos Island and could have easily stayed another 4 nights. The hammocks right at the sea front offer next level relaxation, our room was super clean and surprisingly cool thanks to the air-conditioning and the location is simply perfect for exploring the island, with major highlights like frog beach only a short boat ride away (Carlos, who lives there with his family will help with transportation, so you don't need to worry about a thing). What made this place stand out the most was the very welcoming owner Brigitte. She made us feel at home right away, let us use snorkels & paddle boards for free (highly recommend) and even invited us to come and see a mummy sloth with her super cute baby when they were hanging out in her back garden.

Charming, clean and comfortable room right over the water! Brigitte and her team are friendly and helpful. The room had a comfy bed, good sheets, and air-conditioning. The shared kitchen in super-well equipped. The deck and hammocks are the perfect place to chill. Right next to the main pier for water taxis, right on the water and main street. Excellent value, we will stay here when in Bastimentos again!
